If you look closely at the photos, you’ll notice that there are small fin-like structures attached to our truck. These are TELPs—tiny guiding structures that utilize the Venturi effect and Bernoulli’s principle. 😐 In short☝: they organize the airflow in a way reminiscent of a shark’s skin and the aerodynamic shape of a falcon. These small structures should therefore save energy and reduce drag.
We are now collecting data that will show monthly average consumption. The question will be whether there is a significant drop in the figures. If so, we believe a full implementation of TELPs across the entire Van Dievel fleet would be beneficial—and preferably as soon as possible.
